Classical Ballet Company

Entrance into the Pre-Professional Classical Ballet Company is by instructor promotion and audition only.  This year’s auditions will be held on Saturday September 8, 2007 from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. If you are new to The Toledo Ballet and feel that you are of an advanced level, you may contact Lisa Mayer Lang (School Director) to inquire about setting up an audition or attending a company class for evaluation.

Ballet has always been and continues to be the foundation of Toledo Ballet and of all forms of dance.  Toledo Ballet offers a pre-professional Classical Ballet Company which prepares the serious student for the demands of an actual professional career in the world of Ballet.  Many Toledo Ballet staff have started their ballet training at Toledo Ballet and then continued on to work professionally in various major ballet companies across the nation.

The training required to pursue a career in ballet is very demanding.  Having a staff that has actual years of experience in the professional world of dance is invaluable to the young aspiring ballet dancer. Toledo Ballet Company members eventually enter the professional world with proper technique / training, high quality performance skills and actual professional knowledge and insight.
