Magie du Théâtre
Performing Arts Company
Magie du Théâtre is a performing arts
company/class that was conceived and is
artistically directed by Broadway veteran
Michael Lang. This is a company that works on more
avant-garde/contemporary styled
productions ala Cirque du Soleil.
These particular production pieces are
eventually performed at various public
performances i.e. The Toledo Ballet’s annual
Spring Production.
Magie du Théâtre incorporates many
different art forms including singing,
acting and all styles of dance.
Students ages 10 and up are admitted to
the Company by audition only and should
check the website for dates and times. The
auditions are open to the entire
community and you do not have to be a
currently enrolled student at Toledo
Ballet to participate. The weekly class
is free, however, for all students
enrolled in Fall 2007 classes.
Dancers: You will learn a
combination in each particular style in
which you are auditioning. Be warmed up and
ready to dance at the times specified above.
Please bring appropriate shoes.
Singers: Please bring 16 bars of an
up tempo and a ballad in the style of your
choice. Looking for Pop, Broadway &
Classically trained singers.
* Male dancers are strongly encouraged to
attend!
