TOLEDO BALLET’S NEW STUDIOS!
After more than 30 years at Franklin Park Mall, in February 2015 Toledo Ballet moved to a much larger, state of the art facility at 5327 Monroe St. next to Hobby Lobby. With nearly 10,000 square feet, the new venue is host to 4 pristine studios.
The largest studio, named for TB Founder and Artistic Director Emerita Marie Vogt, was built to replicate the stage dimensions of the Stranahan Theater stage, thus allowing us to accurately rehearse and stage our Nutcracker. Seventeen feet high ceilings give a light, airy look to the entire facility and allow for fabulous lifts and jumps in each studio. A conditioning studio houses pilates and other fitness classes for the dancer and non-dancer alike.
A cutting edge security system ensures the safety of everyone on the premises, and convenient curb side drop-off and pick up lanes mean that no dancer must navigate a busy parking lot on foot.

Toledo Ballet’s Nutcracker Set Comes “Home”
Our new facility at 5327 Monroe Street makes it finally possible to house all of the sets and costumes for our historic production of The Nutcracker. After 75 years of off-site storage, Toledo Ballet welcomed home a full trailer-load of props and scenery.
On Sunday, May 3, 2015, a dedicated and energetic team of volunteers comprised of trustees, staff, faculty, Toledo Ballet parents and friends completed the set unload–quickly and deftly housing all the pieces in our spacious storage bay.
