Fall 2012 Tuition

The Fall Session begins Tuesday, September 4th 2012 and goes through Saturday, June 8th 2013. See the Class Schedule for offerings. View the School Catalog for more information

General Information

The Toledo Ballet tuition is based on a sliding scale for multiple, varied length class schedules. Most classes are classified as a Short or Long Class. A Short class consists of a class which the instructional time is one hour or less. A Long class consists of a class when the instructional time is more than one hour. Auto-pay Installment Plan
After paying the first installment plan upon registraion, adults with tuition totalling $275 or more have a convenient opportunity to have the 3 subsequent payments automatically withdrawn from a designated account. There is no processing fee if you choose this plan. If you elect self-pay, there is a $30 handling fee added to the first installment of tuition.

Make-up Classes
Make-up classes MUST be taken at the level for which the dancer is enrolled OR LOWER. This is for the safety of the dancer and no exceptions will be made. All make-up classes must be done within the same semester as the missed classes and a make-up form must be presented to the instructor upon entry into the class.

Drop-ins
Drop-in students are always welcome; a drop-in form must be completed and submitted either at the front desk or to the instructor. If the drop-in is a prespective student and the student elects to register, the drop-in  fee is applied toward the tuition.
Drop-in Class Rate:
$20 per Short Class
$24 per Long Class

Determining Tuition

Determine the number of short and long classes the student would like to enroll in for the semester. Follow the chart located on the window of our front desk.

Refund Policy

No refunds of semester tuition will be made without a written doctor's excuse after a student has attended their second class.

If a student must withdraw from classes (absences do not constitute withdrawal) tuition can be credited against future registration. The student's family must notify the school in writing to request a credit.

Refunds will be assessed a $15 handling fee and prorated for the number of classes attended by the student. No handling fee is assessed on tuition held for credit.

The cost of trial classes is not refundable but may be applied towards tuition.

Tuition will not be prorated or refunded because of excessive non-medical absences. Student may make up absences by attending another class at the same level or at a lower level. Please notify the instructor when the class is a "make-up."

Students on payment plans are expected to fulfill the terms of their payment contract even if they do not attend all of their classes. Failure to fulfill payment contracts will lead to penalties, including late fees, exclusion from classes or performances, revocation of scholarship aid, or dismissal from the school. There will be no exceptions made to the refund policy.
