Toledo has much to be proud of when it comes to its arts and cultural institutions. So much so that Toledo Ballet’s spring production artistic director Michael Lang has found a passion for celebrating another of these with this most recent original production. Anyone who has stepped into the Grand Lobby of the Valentine Theatre has been delighted by Paul Geiger’s mural which depicts over one hundred stars of the early twentieth century who at one point graced the original Valentine Theatre stage. Lang takes his creative genius to a new level with his choreographic interpretations of the famous lives depicted in this much loved mural. Toledoans love their landmarks and will have to wait with bated breath to see just what would happen…. IF THESE WALLS COULD DANCE!
