Toledo Ballet Performance of Awkward Girl on January 3, 2016 at the Peristyle

Toledo Ballet presents Awkward Girl: A Journey through Degas on January 3, 2016 at 2p.m. in the Toledo Museum of Art Peristyle, as the culmination of the Degas and the Dance exhibition performance opportunities.

Awkward Girl is from Toledo Ballet’s 2011 beloved production of Museum of Dreams, created by Resident Director / Choreographer Michael Lang. The production portrays a young museum visitor who imagines herself into the onstage world of one of Degas’ beautiful ballerinas.

Admission to the performance and exhibit is free.

The January 3 performance of Awkward Girl: A Journey through Degas is supported by the generous contributions of Susan Conda and Toledo Ballet’s Season Sponsors and is presented in collaboration with the Toledo Museum of Art.
